  Sutherland adds Chief Client Officer
  July 20, 2009- ROCHESTER, NEW YORK
     

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK – july 20, 2009 - Sutherland Global Services, a leading multi-national Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider, today announced the appointment of Kam Shenai as Chief Client Officer.

Shenai will be responsible for Sutherland's global sales and marketing organization and accountable for revenue, profit and client satisfaction in the global markets in which Sutherland does business. In this role, he will lead Sutherland's business development and client engagement teams across all geographies. Shenai's responsibilities will include leading Sutherland's industry focused practices and technology platform-based solutions. In addition, as a member of Sutherland's senior leadership team, he will be actively involved in developing the company's go-to-market strategies.

Shenai comes to Sutherland from Xerox Corporation where he had an impressive track record, having been part of the team responsible for the company's turn-around in the early 2000s. His career with Xerox has spanned numerous senior management roles in sales and operations with full profit and loss accountability.

As head of Marketing Operations for Xerox North America, a multi-billion dollar entity, Shenai was responsible for all critical functions including coverage, pricing and compensation. In this assignment, he was accountable for driving initiatives through both the direct sales force and Xerox's alternate indirect channels. Shenai was part of the team that drove the transition to the services led, and technology enabled, strategy for Xerox.

Shenai holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from The University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
